Nick de Vries has completed the seat fitting on the F1 machine of Scuderia AlphaTauri, who will join in 2023.
Nick de Vries reported on Twitter that he had visited the Scuderia AlphaTauri factory in Faenza, Italy for seat fitting. De Vries plans to run AlphaTauri’s F1 car in the Young Drivers Test in Abu Dhabi after the season.
During the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, Scuderia AlphaTauri announced that Nick de Vries will be Yuki Tsunoda’s new teammate in 2023. Pierre Gasly, the current driver, will transfer to the Alpine F1 team and take over.
Nick de Vries, who suddenly made his F1 debut from Williams as a substitute for Alexander Albon at the F1 Italian Grand Prix, was rumored to win the 2023 F1 seat after finishing ninth. Shortly after, he was spotted in Austria and revealed to be in talks with Red Bull F1 motorsport advisor Helmut Marko.
