Nick Anderson’s nightmare during Game 1 of the NBA Finals

On June 7, 1995, the NBA Finals began between the Orlando Magic and the Houston Rockets. A Game 1 entered into the legend because of its terrible scenario, especially for a man: Nick Anderson. This meeting the Magic held her, leading by 3 points regarding ten seconds from the end when Nick Anderson was sent to the throwing line. At 70% in shots that season, Anderson missed his first two attempts, but thought he had saved the day by taking the offensive rebound. Sent to the line once more, he cracked once more with a 0/2, giving the Rockets a chance to equalize, which Kenny Smith did not hesitate to do. Finally it was in the last seconds of overtime that the Rockets made the difference thanks to a tap ofHakeem Olajwuon, and then flew over these finals 4-0. But except for a free throw, the story might have been very different.
