NICHOLAS Saputra used to be a hangout kid too. This was admitted by the actor who is familiarly called Nico when he was a performer at the #GenerasiCampus Roadshow at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Wednesday (10/9).

During college, Nico was indeed very active in activities outside of academic schedules. How could he not be? In fact, even before becoming a student at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia, Architecture study program, Nico had been actively involved in the world of acting.

During college, Nicholas Saputra starred in his phenomenal film with Dian Sastrowardoyo, Ada Apa dengan Cinta? (2002). Nico also hosted MTV Indonesia, a 90s broadcast that was very popular among young people at the time.

However, Nico did not immediately forget his main task as a student in the scientific field of his own choice.

“While studying, I also act in films. In the middle of the year or at the end of the year I usually act in films, so as not to interfere with my studies,” said Nico.

Nico gave a message to thousands of students at the #GenerasiCampus Roadshow event, that different things that are done simultaneously at one time, can still be pursued well as long as we can be consistent and responsible for whatever our choices are.

#GenerasiCampus Roadshow is a collaboration event between Narasi and Grab. Carrying the title POV/XYZ: Generasi Bicara Generasi, this event aims to invite the younger generation and the previous generation to exchange insights and explore their potential, as well as understand and support each other.
