ACTORS Nicholas Saputra and Putri Marino reveal their experiences while filming the film The Architecture of Love, which was located in New York, United States (US) and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Nicholas admitted that he had many first experiences during the filming process, even though he had starred in quite a number of films.
“Actually, there are many firsts in this film, working with Director Mas Teddy, playing with Putri in the main role is also the first time. I’m sure there are many people like that,” said Nicholas, quoted Friday (26/4).
Nicholas also felt honored to be invited to play the main role in the film The Architecture of Love, the cast and people behind the scenes, according to him, are great people in their fields.

He said, everyone involved in the film had positive energy and totality to make the best film work.
Nicholas, who also has an educational background in architecture, said that his role as River in the film The Architecture of Love still refers to the characterization in the scenario and also the characters in the world of the story.
River is a complex character because he has gone through great emotional experiences in his life.

Through the scenario that brought the story to life, he felt very helped by Teddy Soeriaatmadja’s direction in being able to bring River to life on screen.
Nicholas also praised Putri Marino as a talented actress with good acting qualities and work ethic which helped her a lot in playing River.
“We are both connected because we want to provide something good. We want to work together and hopefully that can be felt in this film,” he said.

Meanwhile, Putri Marino, who plays the character Raia, said she was enthusiastic when asked to be one of the main characters in the film The Architecture of Love, which is an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Ika Natassa.
Putri admitted that she had also read the book The Architecture of Love before.
“I’m very happy to have an extraordinary support system on location. All the actors who joined, maybe that’s what makes my energy well used,” said Putri.
Putri also felt satisfied and happy because the film The Architecture of Love gave her a warm feeling following watching it.
“Seeing these two human characters, Raia and River, can grow and become real on the big screen, makes me nervous but at the same time emotional. The film The Architecture of Love will provide warmth for anyone who watches it,” he said.
Meanwhile, writer Ika Natassa, who was involved from the beginning of the story development to the end of production, said she mightn’t wait to show the film The Architecture of Love to Indonesian audiences.
According to him, the film adapted from his book really exceeded his expectations.
“After stirring while following the storyline, a feeling of warmth and longing arose in my heart to quickly watch it once more. Like falling in love, this film makes you nostalgic and addictive,” said Ika Natassa.
The film The Architecture of Love stars Nicholas Saputra, Putri Marino, Jerome Kurnia, Jihane Almira, Omar Daniel, Refal Hady, Agla Artalidia, Arifin Putra, Lydia Kandou, Willem Bevers, Jeremie J Tobing, and Imelda Therinne.
The film The Architecture of Love is the universe of Critical Eleven, a film adaptation of the best-selling novel Ika Natassa, which was also produced by Starvision with Legacy Pictures from producer Chand Parwez Servia.
