Useful and accessible active noise reduction thanks to the Realme Buds Air 3
According to the Realme Buds Air 3 datasheet, the headphones could reduce the external sound volume to go to 42 dB. For the price at which they are offered, these wireless headphones have excellent active noise reduction, even on human voices. So certainly, it is not at the level of the big names, but the Buds Air 3 arrive at the level of headphones which are offered at double the price.
On the audio side, there is compatibility with codecs Bluetooth SBC et AAC. No aptX or LDAC, but again considering the price it’s just what we’re asking for. Regarding the rendering, the bass is present and offers a warm rendering, but the headphones are balanced since the mids and high-mids are also highlighted.
Bluetooth multipoint at 50 euros
It’s not just about active noise reduction that the Realme Buds Air 3 are amazing. They offer multipoint Bluetooth, which means that you can connect them simultaneously to your computer and your smartphone. This allows you to switch from music on your computer to a voice call, without having to disconnect and reconnect the headphones by multiplying the manipulations.
Talking about the controls, they are tactile, so it will be up to you. This generates a slight latency, but you can pause or resume the music, change the title or active noise reduction mode. The app Realme Link still allows you to modify the controls to customize them.
Regarding autonomy, the Buds Air 3 can last up to 5:30 with active noise reduction and up to 7 hours without, which is about average. By adding the case, you can last up to 22 hours with ANC and up to 30 hours without. For recharging, it is completely done in just over 40 minutes for the headphones.
