The Nationwide Meeting (Parliament) of Nicaragua, managed by the Sandinistas, permitted in Managua the creation of a Presidential Council whose function shall be to fight drug trafficking, organized crime and different associated crimes.
This Presidential Council shall be made up of ten ministers and administrators of public establishments, of which seven of them, based on the native press, have been sanctioned by the USA, the European Union, Canada, amongst different international locations, for violating the human rights of Nicaraguans, undermine Nicaragua’s democracy and for presumption of corruption.
