Florida Panthers forward William Lockwood will have a hearing Saturday with the NHL Security Department for his actions once morest Marc-André Fleury of the Minnesota Wild.

Friday evening, as the game had just started, Fleury came out of her net to pick up the puck. Lockwood, arriving at full speed, collided with the Quebec goalkeeper behind the latter’s cage.

Three players then came to Fleury’s defense and a general melee was created.

Lockwood received a minor penalty for goaltender obstruction in addition to another two minutes for roughing Zach Bogosian. The Panthers forward later responded for his actions during a fight with Brandon Duhaime, but it didn’t end well for Lockwood as he was injured during the fight.

Fleury also left the game midway through the second period due to an upper body injury, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

The Wild ultimately won the game 6-4.

More details to come.
