NHL: opening debacle for Marco Rossi and the Minnesota Wild – winter sports

Marco Rossi and the Minnesota Wild got off to a total bad start in the NHL. Minnesota slipped into a 3-7 debacle in Thursday’s home game once morest the New York Rangers.

The 21-year-old from Vorarlberg is playing his third game in the world’s strongest league in front of 18,600 spectators at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The center plays in the fourth line and is used both on the power play and briefly outnumbered, but only gets 10:24 minutes of ice time from head coach Dean Evason.

His line with the wings Connor Dewar and Brandon Duhaime conceded the goal to 0: 3 just before the first break.

Fleury: “Slap in the face”
