NHL: Jonathan Quick would go to Columbus; Korpisalo and Gavrikov with the Kings?

The Columbus Blue Jackets and Los Angeles Kings were in talks late Tuesday through Wednesday to complete a trade.

According to what was indicated by Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff, Jonathan Quick would be traded to the Blue Jackets. For his part, goalkeeper Joonas Korpisalo would go the opposite way to Los Angeles. Seravalli let his sources know that Quick would not be happy with this transaction, and the word would be weak according to the hockey informant. The news comes as the Kings returned to Los Angeles following a game once morest the Jets in Winnipeg. They are scheduled to face the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.

Elliotte Friedman mentioned that defender Vladislav Gavrikov might also join the Kings. He adds that a first-round pick would also be involved.

The 37-year-old Quick has played his entire career with the Kings. Since his first shots in the NHL during the 2007-2008 season, Quick has played 743 games with the jersey of the Kings. It registered 370 victories and obtained the Stanley Cup with Los Angeles in two occasions.

Quick is the Kings all-time goaltender in games played, wins and shutouts (57) in the regular season.

This season, the goaltender has appeared in 37 games, recording 11 wins, and has a 3.50 goals- once morest-average and .876 save percentage.

Korpisalo is 11-14 this season with a 3.17 goals- once morest-average and .913 save percentage. He was in his eighth season with the Blue Jackets.

Amid trade rumors, Gavrikov hasn’t been in uniform since Feb. 11 for the Jackets. In 52 games this season, he has amassed 10 points.
