MINNESOTA. Every action brings a reaction, says one of Newton’s laws of motion. In the NHL night game between the Minnesota Wild and the Montreal Canadiens, Juraj Slafkovský saw this fact for himself.
When he knocked goalkeeper Filip Gustavsson to the ice during his offensive activity, he immediately returned his unexpected attack. He jumped after the young Slovak like an enraged tiger and overwhelmed him with his body.

At the same time, the draft pick from 2022 ended up completely innocent in this situation, as Slafkovský was pushed into the goalkeeper by the opponent’s forward Ryan Hartman.
During the recording of this moment on the cube of the local arena, Slafkovský pointed it out from the substitutes and together with the goalkeeper of the home team laughed together after watching the entire course of the situation.
Filip Gustavsson did not receive a penalty for rudeness from the referees, moreover, this moment did not take him out of concentration at all and he kept his first clean sheet of the season in a 3:0 win.
Juraj Slafkovský started in Montreal’s first attack alongside Kirby Dach and Nick Suzuki. He spent 17 minutes and 58 seconds on the ice, including 4:09 during the game with a numerical advantage.
He also recorded one minus point, two points and three shooting attempts, one of which was aimed at the goal area. He even appeared on one throw-in, which he lost against Marco Rossi.
Montreal Canadiens hockey players are currently the worst team in the competition with 12 points. In the next meeting, they will be challenged by the Columbus Blue Jackets on the night from Saturday to Sunday.

Minneapolis Mayhem: The Night of the Slafkovský Showdown!
Every action brings a reaction, or as I like to call it: “the law of the hockey jungle.” If you didn’t catch the NHL game between the Minnesota Wild and the Montreal Canadiens, let’s just say it was a spectacle worth more than just a few peanuts in the stands. And no, I’m not talking about the cute little animals – I’m referring to Juraj Slafkovský, who had a little too much fun with goalie Filip Gustavsson.
Picture this: a young Slovak, minding his business, charging toward the net like a kid running towards the ice cream truck. Suddenly, he gets pushed by Ryan Hartman, and voilà! The innocent Slafkovský ends up laying a smackdown on poor Gustavsson, who was clearly just trying to guard his crease like a medieval knight protecting his castle.
In a moment of pure ‘how-did-I-get-myself-into-this,’ Gustavsson jumped up like he’d just seen a spider and chased down Slafkovský, ready to pounce like an enraged tiger. Though let’s be honest, with the way he slid into that commotion, he looked more like a startled cat who just caught its tail. Talk about confusion on ice!
The icing on the cake? Slafkovský was so innocent (bless him) that he ended up laughing it off with Gustavsson on the big screen. Now that’s what I call a classic sitcom moment on ice – grab that popcorn! Who knew that chaos on the rink could lead to bonding moments? Maybe this is the new therapy – check your forwards for villainy!
But don’t get carried away! Despite the shenanigans, Gustavsson wasn’t fazed. Our goalie managed to keep his wits about him and grabbed his first clean sheet of the season in what resulted in a 3-0 win. Talk about resilience – it’s almost as if he channeled his inner Dalai Lama with a goalie mask on. Good luck to the rest of the league trying to get one past him now!
Slafkovský: The Rising Star
For those keeping score at home, Slafkovský had quite the evening! He started his ice adventure alongside teammates Kirby Dach and Nick Suzuki, logging a total of 17 minutes and 58 seconds on the ice. That’s almost a Netflix length episode! Out of these, he spent four whole minutes playing with a numerical advantage – you know, when it’s one team celebrating a birthday while the other just got uninvited!
In terms of stats, he’s sitting with a minus one, two points, and three shot attempts. So it’s safe to say he wasn’t just a pretty face out there – the lad was aiming to accomplish something! But let’s not forget that he lost a faceoff against Marco Rossi, who probably smugly strut off while Slafkovský contemplated his life choices.
Current Season Drama
And what about the bigger picture? The Montreal Canadiens – bless their plaid hearts – currently sit at the bottom of the standings with just 12 points. Ouch! Their next match against the Columbus Blue Jackets should be interesting. One can only hope those Canadiens find a way to score – or at least keep their skate laces tied. Isn’t it funny how life in the NHL can shift from comedic gold to tragic theatre in the blink of an eye?
So here’s to hockey! Where every game can turn into a dramatic skit at a moment’s notice. Catch icy moments, slapstick collisions, and the occasional goalie tantrum. Because if you don’t laugh, you might just wind up crying like a referee’s whistle!
MINNESOTA. Every action brings a reaction, a concept famously encapsulated by one of Newton’s laws of motion, was vividly illustrated during the NHL night game between the Minnesota Wild and the Montreal Canadiens as Juraj Slafkovský found himself at the center of attention.
In a surprising turn of events during an intense offensive play, Slafkovský’s encounter with Minnesota’s goaltender, Filip Gustavsson, quickly escalated. After knocking Gustavsson to the ice with a forceful charge, the Wild’s player retaliated like a ferocious tiger, launching himself at the young Slovak in a moment of fierce aggression, overwhelming him with sheer force.

Interestingly, Slafkovský emerged as an unwitting participant in this physical episode, as he had been unceremoniously shoved into Gustavsson by opponent Ryan Hartman, highlighting the chaotic nature of on-ice encounters.
As the confrontation was replayed on the massive arena scoreboard, Slafkovský took a moment to clarify his innocence, drawing laughter from both the Canadiens’ bench and Gustavsson himself, who shared a chuckle over the humorous turn of events.
Despite the aggressive nature of the play, Filip Gustavsson remained composed and did not face any disciplinary action from the referees. Focused and unflappable, he maintained his concentration throughout the game, ultimately achieving his first clean sheet of the season in a decisive 3:0 victory for the Wild.
Juraj Slafkovský played a significant role in Montreal’s strategy, starting the game on the first line alongside star players Kirby Dach and Nick Suzuki. Over the course of the match, he logged an impressive 17 minutes and 58 seconds on the ice, including 4:09 during key power play situations.
In addition to his presence on the ice, Slafkovský recorded one minus point, provided two points, and attempted three shots, with one of those directed right at the goal area. He even took part in a critical face-off, though he unfortunately lost it to Marco Rossi.
As it stands, the Montreal Canadiens are struggling at the bottom of the standings, holding only 12 points in the competition. Looking ahead, they will face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets in their next challenging match on the night from Saturday to Sunday.
