Juraj Slafkovsky was selected with the first overall pick in the 2022 draft.
Immediately before draftwe remember Slaf saying he volunteered to play left for Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield because CH was looking for a guy to complete the starting trio…
And it finally happened this season. The guys had success together and we noticed how good the chemistry was between the three guys.
We’re a little less than two months away from the next NHL draft, and the recent comments made by Cayden Lindstrom, a guy valued by CH management, are very similar to Slaf.
The big forward told Anthony Martineau (TVA Sports) that he might see himself developing with Slaf, a duo with dominant potential because we are talking regarding two big guys on the ice:
I might see myself playing with Slafkovsky […] Slafkovsky is a big guy like me, so let’s just say we can get a lot of space on the ice! -Cayden Lindstrom
He is one of the favorite prospects of CH fans.
At 6”4, 216 pounds, he’s seen on a par with Cole Caufield and… Juraj Slafkovsky.
Two words: Cayden. Lindstrom.
But without a decision made 5 years ago, he would not have NHL aspirations.https://t.co/4Jr0joAxw0

At 6’3′ and 210 pounds, Cayden Lindstrom already has the frame to play in the NHL and hold his own once morest older players.
In addition, he should continue to gain mass… Because he is only 18 years old.
The lottery is in two days (Tuesday, May 7) and that’s when we’ll have a better idea of what awaits the Canadian in the draft.
On the other hand, if it remains intact and the management talks at 5, the selection is practically impossible to predict at the moment because there will always be good strikers available. #CuvéeDeDéfenseurs
CH has to make a decision, but we know that Kent Hughes wants to expand his club. Lindstrom fits into this vision… Just like Beckett Sennecke, who seems to be winning a lot of points lately.
This makes us look forward to the draft even more, because the Canadian will have the opportunity to get hold of a player he really likes.
It remains to be seen if it will be Lindstorm, Sennecke, Catton or Iginla… Unless management changes their mind and decides to select a defenseman with their first pick.
A lot of
– He wants to be strong.
Soooo Gavin McKenna completing his hat trick into an empty net to (almost) confirm Canada’s win in #U18.
What a player he is and will be in the NHL!

– In the team’s defeat, note that Cole Eiserman broke Cole Caufield’s record for most goals with the American Development Program.
I maintain that regardless of the classification given to him by the recruiting center to #NHL (12th in North America) Cole Eiserman should be a top-10 finisher #NHLDraft2024 https://t.co/7njsjWJOgB

Sad to hear of the death of Serge Savard’s wife, Paulette. Condolences to the family at this difficult time
