The Bruins thus gain in robustness on the blue line and among their attackers.

Orlov helped Washington win the Stanley Cup in 2018.

He has three goals and 19 points this season.

The team drafted him in the second round in 2009.

Hathaway has been on the Caps’ fourth line since the 2019-20 season. He has nine goals and 16 points this season.

“Dmitry has been with the organization for almost 14 years. He had a big role in our conquest of the cup, confided the general manager of the Capitals, Brian McLellan.

“Garnet has been an important member of the team and a role model off the ice, with his community involvement. We wish them all the best with Boston. »
