Appointed coach of the national men’s basketball team in replacement of Boniface Ndong, Ngagne Desagana Diop, former pivot of the Lions, says he is ready to take up the challenge.
« Pride and honor are the feelings I feel. I wanted to thank my family first who has always been present, the Ministry of Sports, the Senegalese Basketball Federation its president, the DTN and the whole basketball family for this trust. I will do my best to live up to this honorary mission. Representing my country has always been a pleasure but above all a duty.
