What’s wrong with Joe Burrow (26)?
The quarterback extended his contract early by five years in the summer, for which he received an incredible $275 million. This makes him the most expensive player in the league.
But for a long time it seems that Burrow has forgotten how to throw since then!
In the opening game against the Cleveland Browns, he only managed 82 yards. At least he didn’t throw an interception.
But that changes now against the Ravens! In the first half, Burrow, the 275 million man, gained a measly 35 yards. He doesn’t complete a pass longer than 10 yards – the worst mark of his career.
As the second half begins, he immediately throws an interception.

Why is that? Burrow was injured in the offseason. Apparently he hasn’t fully recovered from that yet. However, many decisions cannot be justified by this. The interception against the Ravens was completely unnecessary, a catastrophic mistake.
But then Burrow turns up the heat. It seems like he needed the interception! The quarterback throws two touchdowns!
But that comes too late, the Bengals are behind 0-2 again. Last year they reached the playoffs, but they also set a record. Because no team had ever done it from such a bad situation before.
After the game, Burrow said his calf was bothering him again.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn’t drink his mistake water today. Against the Jets he scored three passes and also had a fumble.
He gets going against the Raiders! Allen throws three touchdowns!

Crazy game in Houston. Rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson starts like a fire engine for the Colts. He already has two rushing touchdowns in the first quarter.
But then he has to leave the field – again. He had to go out in the first game. This time because of suspected concussion.
With backup Gardner Minshew there is still the win (171 yards, one touchdown). For the Texans, rookie quarterback CJ Stroud is showing good signs. He has 367 yards and two touchdowns.
