Zay Jones of the Arizona Cardinals violated the National Football League’s rules of conduct and was suspended for five games. Alaric Jackson of the Los Angeles Rams received a two-game penalty.
This means that Jones will be missing from the Cardinals’ games against the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers as well as the home games against the Los Angeles Rams, Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. The 29-year-old only moved from the Jacksonville Jaguars to Arizona this offseason.
Meanwhile, the Rams have to find a solution for the left tackle position for the first two games. Jackson has also been suspended. The 26-year-old second-round pick from 2021 will be missing from the Rams’ away games against the Cardinals and the Lions.
NFL announced that Cardinals WR Zay Jones also has been suspended five games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
