The figures for the deal have been submitted later: The basis is probably 39 million US dollars, but with bonuses the contract can increase to up to 50 million US dollars. Adam Schefter adds that an eleven million US dollar signing bonus should be included.

NFL, Free Agency 2024: Broncos bring safety – and lose their center

6:11 p.m.: The Denver Broncos are close to signing safety Brandon Jones, reports ESPN journalist Jeremy Fowler. Jones has played four years for the Miami Dolphins.

At the same time, CBS journalist Jonathan Jones reports that their center Lloyd Cushenberry will leave via free agency: The Tennessee Titans are also getting a new support for the offensive line following running back Tony Pollard.

NFL, Free Agency 2024: Bengals extend tight end sample

6:06 p.m.: The Cincinnati Bengals have not let their number one tight end, Drew Sample, go. Shortly following the free agency window opened, the franchise announced that Sample had signed a new three-year contract in Cincinnati.

Update: According to Tom Pelissero, the contract is worth $10.5 million over three years – $4.9 million of that in the first year.

Big bang for the Green Bay Packers – Bakhtiari leaves

5:53 p.m.: The Green Bay Packers part ways with their star left tackle David Bakhtiari. Aaron Rodgers’ long-time protector announced this himself via Instagram. Ian Rapoport confirms the Packers have informed Bakhtiari of his release. His statement in verbatim:

“This is very emotional for me. I just want to say THANK YOU, Green Bay. Thank you for the last eleven years. It’s been an amazing time. I always wanted to put a Lombardi on Lombardi Avenue, but I’ll never complain. I have gave my best. I always did my best, no matter the circumstances, and for me that was truly enough. My 32-year-old self is so damn proud of this 21-year-old boy with no facial hair and a bushy ponytail who was just being I wanted to do my best. I’m so proud of you. Whatever happens next, I’m looking forward to it.

I just want to say thank you to the city and the fans around the world. To the entire organization: Thank you. To the entire coaching staff, thank you. To the entire supervisory staff: Thank you. To my wife and daughter (Frankie and Felix): I hope you are proud. To my family (Debbie, Karl, Eric, Andrew and Danielle): I hope I have represented our name with pride in Green Bay for the past eleven years. I can’t thank everyone, so I hope this post is enough. Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”

Is Bakhtiari now following his old friend Rodgers? The New York Jets are urgently looking for online support…

But that’s not the only Packers move! As Packers beat writer Tom Silverstein reported on Sunday, De’Vondre Campbell is also said to be facing release. The linebacker came via free agency a few years ago and played his way to an expensive contract – too much for his performance following signing.
