The Minnesota Vikings have reduced their list of candidates for the position of general manager of the team to two names and that of Quebecer Catherine Raîche would no longer be part of it.
The Vikings have only called Kansas City Chiefs director of player personnel Ryan Poles and Cleveland Browns vice president of football operations Kwesi Adofo-Mensah to a second interview, NFL Network reported Friday.
Raîche, vice-president of football operations for the Philadelphia Eagles, is one of eight people to have been met by the Vikings. The team made the announcement on Monday.
Raîche began his professional football career with the Alouettes in 2015 as Football Operations Coordinator before being promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2017. He then moved on to the Toronto Argonauts and the Tampa Bay Vipers in the XFL before becoming the Eagles’ Football Operations Coordinator in 2019.
