PSG won the pre-season battle with a landslide victory. Japan club Gamba Osaka was crushed by six goals once morest two. Neymar scored a brace for PSG while Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Pablo Sarabia and Nuno Mendes scored one each.

In the 28th minute, PSG started chasing goals through Pablo Sarabia. In the 32nd minute, Neymar scored a penalty and increased the lead. However, Keisuke Kurokawa pulled one back for the Japanese team in the 34th minute. Nuno Mendes scored in the 37th minute and Lionel Messi scored in the 39th minute to make the score 4-1.
Neymar scored the fifth goal for PSG in the 60th minute assisted by Messi. Hiroto Yamami added another goal for Gamba Osaka in the 70th minute. Mbappe, who came as a substitute, scored a penalty in the 86th minute to complete the goal list.
