The Austrian IT infrastructure and telecommunications service provider is joining the initiative for climate-neutral data centers.
Vienna (OTS) – The Climate Neutral Data Center Pact (CNDCP) is a self-regulated initiative with the aim of making data centers in Europe climate-neutral by 2050. The participating organizations are audited and certified in terms of, among other things, CO2-neutral operations, energy management and efficient use of raw materials.
“The resource-saving operation of our data center locations has been important to us for years and energy efficiency and CO2 neutrality have priority. That’s why we’re taking another step in the right direction and supporting the CNDCP initiative. Data centers are carriers of the digitalization infrastructure and play a pioneering role in the greening of our economy,” says Georg Chytil, Managing Director of next layer.
