Newsweek: Russian President Putin was treated for cancer in April

In a video message on the occasion of the International Children’s Day, Putin said, “We live in a time when the world is changing rapidly… I am sure that Russia in this complex world will strengthen its strength, independence and sovereignty, and this work is not in One particular direction, it will be in the economy, technology, science and many other fields, the strengthening of civil society and national education, including also a strong civil society and patriotic youth activities.”

He stressed that “the success of the country depends on the work and achievements of citizens who are united by common values, culture and traditions, respect for history and the desire to contribute to the development of Russia.

“The current generation has everything necessary to build a worthy future together – determination, responsibility, love for the country, as well as a desire to acquire new knowledge and help others,” Putin added.
