News | Marseille: a teenager found safe and sound at sea 5 hours after his disappearance

An important research device was triggered at the end of the followingnoon in Marseille in the Corniche sector following the disappearance of a 15-year-old swimmer. Leaving to swim around 4 p.m., he did not return to the shore, arousing the concern of his relatives, who gave the alert.

But as hopes dwindled following dark, around 9 p.m., the Navy aircraft spotted the teenager off shore. He was able to be fished out safe and sound, despite a slight hypothermia.
