Rail replacement service along line 1: A rail replacement service will be set up on tram line 1 between the Remise Kleinmünchen and Auwiesen stops on three days in the coming weeks – on August 8, 20 and 27, each day from 9 p.m. (until the end of operations). The reason for this, according to Linz AG, is track and grinding work that is necessary to ensure quiet, vibration-free and safe tram operation. A rail replacement service with buses will be set up.
Free admission for families in Lentos and Nordico: Until the end of August, families – a maximum of two adults with children under 18 – can visit the Lentos Art Museum and the Nordico City Museum free of charge. The “Free August promotion” is taking place in the Lentos for the seventh time this year, and Nordico is taking part for the first time. “Visitors can explore our art museum on the active art trail through the collection exhibition. In the Nordico, the augmented reality experience tour in particular offers a fantastic experience,” says City Councillor for Culture Doris Lang-Mayerhofer (VP). Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday until 8 p.m.
