The General Directorate of Traffic announced that the corrective period for neglected or damaged vehicles will take effect without fees or fines, starting from tomorrow, Tuesday.
The administration once once more called on the owners of these vehicles to take the initiative to drop them from their records, and to take advantage of the corrective period of one year, indicating that the fees for renewing driving licenses and delay fines will be exempted.
She explained that dropping vehicles from the traffic register begins with handing them over to one of the shops licensed to sell vehicles whose registration has been revoked, or approved iron press shops, and to bring proof of that.
She noted that the plates and driving licenses of these cars are handed over to the Traffic Department in the governorate or region to which they belong.
