The Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajil, was briefed on the progress of work in the hospitals of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the holy sites, and began the tour by visiting Mina Al-Wadi Hospital.
The Minister of Health was briefed on the progress of work and the treatment services that the hospital will provide to the pilgrims during the Hajj season for this year 1443 AH, as he toured the various departments of the hospital listening to a detailed explanation from the hospital director.
After that, the Minister of Health visited the emergency complex in Al-Ma’aisem, where he toured the complex, the exhibition hall in the complex, and reviewed the death refrigerators in the emergency complex in Al-Ma’aisem. and intensive care, then he visited the Crisis and Disaster Center in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and was briefed on the progress of work in the various departments of the center.
He concluded the inspection tour with a visit to Mina Emergency Hospital, ending his inspection tour with a visit to the health command and control room in Makkah and the holy sites.
It is noteworthy that during the Hajj season this year, the Ministry of Health equipped 23 hospitals and 147 health centers, and increased its clinical capacity to 5,000 beds in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the Holy Sites, and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
