Today, Thursday, the Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, visited the studio of the Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, in Jeddah.
The Emir of Mecca and the Minister of Culture toured the studio; Where they stopped and looked at the paintings in it, and the Minister of Culture listened to Prince Khaled Al-Faisal’s talk regarding one of the paintings, and some components of the studio.
The Emir of Makkah had spoken in a previous meeting regarding that painting, which tops his council when he met the citizens, saying that the painting was inspired by a report he wrote on development in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, entitled “From the Kaaba and to it… Building Man and Developing Place.”
He added that he imagined that sentence in a painting, and drew it, and it expresses an integrated Saudi family trying to rise on a hill or mountain, in which the father, mother and children of different ages, and the painting warns once morest elements once morest development represented in a snake, a wolf and a rabbit.
Pictures taken of the visit showed painting equipment, such as colors, tools, and others. Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan commented, “In the studio of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Al-Saif: the hobby owns its men,” describing the studio as full of arts, culture and creativity.
