News 24 | The health insurance fines insurance companies 2.7 million riyals

Today, Tuesday, the Health Insurance Council announced that a number of insurance companies have been fined 2.7 million riyals, due to violations.

He explained in a statement that the committee to look into violations of the provisions of the cooperative health insurance system issued 14 decisions with penalties against some health insurance companies for violating the rules, regulations and decisions of the Council.

The Council added that it is keen to implement the system for its supervisory and oversight role to be a leading regulatory body working to enhance quality and efficiency and enable beneficiaries to obtain their rights of full care and protection.

The official spokesman for the council, Dr. Nasser Al-Juhani, confirmed that the council is working to facilitate all the difficulties that the parties to the insurance relationship may face through organizational procedures applied by the council’s regulations and executive regulations.
