News 24 | The Food and Drug Administration provides tips to combat the spread of mosquitoes and avoid their bites

The Food and Drug Authority has given several tips to avoid mosquito bites, including being careful to stay away from their places of spread such as swamps, and removing everything that helps their reproduction in the vicinity of the dwelling.

The authority explained that the advice includes removing places that help mosquitoes breed, filling swamps and pits, and getting rid of old tires, plastic sheeting, or any container in which mosquitoes breed, while maintaining recycling and treating swimming pool water continuously.

She pointed out the importance of using barriers to prevent mosquitoes from reaching mosquitoes by covering all openings in walls and doors, while avoiding mosquito bites by preventing mosquitoes from reaching the skin by wearing long-sleeved clothes and socks, using mosquito repellents and avoiding going to swamps where mosquitoes spread.

She stressed the need to ensure that the pesticides for controlling mosquitoes are registered with the authority on the list of public health pesticides.
