The Food and Drug Authority commented on what was circulated that one of the types of biscuits contains a substance of pork.
The authority confirmed, through its Twitter account, that all food in the Kingdom is halal, stressing its keenness and follow-up on food products to ensure their approved standard specifications.
The American company Nabisco, which produces the famous Oreo biscuit, had confirmed earlier that its products sold in the Arab markets are halal and conform to the specifications in those countries.
