The decision of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, approving the amendment and updating of the Emiratisation guides for the dental and pharmacy professions, will enter into force today, Monday, April 11, 2022 corresponding to Ramadan 10, 1443 AH.
The amendment stipulates setting the minimum calculation for the Emiratisation rates in the two professions at 7,000 riyals.
This decision applies to all private sector establishments operating in the Saudi market that employ 3 or more dental professionals.
The decision stipulated that the dentist obtain professional accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, according to what was stated in the system of practicing health professions and the executive regulations of the system of practicing health professions, while non-accredited dentists are not counted among the imposed localization percentages.
The procedural manual for the localization of the pharmacy profession also states that this decision applies to all private sector establishments operating in the Saudi market that employ 5 or more workers with pharmaceutical professions. The system of practicing health professions, and the executive regulations of the system of practicing health professions, while workers in pharmacy professions who are not accredited are not counted among the imposed Emiratisation rates.
