The National Committee for Drug Control confirmed that addiction leads to compulsive pursuit and use of drugs despite its consequences, and causes functional changes in brain circuits that involve stress and self-control.

Today (Thursday), she explained that the chain of addiction begins with trying the drug. And then getting used to and relying on abuse, before compulsively seeking it, adding that following that the person has a desire to continue using, provided that he continues to do so regularly; And then increases the doses.

It indicated that there are family factors that drive abuse, 40% due to scolding, 32% as a result of violence, 29% as a result of bullying, and 25% due to the cruelty of the father.

She revealed that the signs that indicate abuse are frequent absences from work or school, agitation and intense emotion when discussing, changes in the external appearance, and the appearance of cigarette residues.
