The General Authority for Audio-Visual Media has arrested a visitor of Arab nationality, for violating the rules and regulations related to the controls of commercial and work in the Kingdom, and for practicing work without a license.

The authority issued a circular to stop the advertiser from practicing in the Kingdom and fined her 400,000 riyals, and not to deal with her or advertise with her and notify her to stop her from practicing in the Kingdom or for content directed to the Saudi audience.

The authority explained that the visitor violated several regulations, including: the audio-visual media system, the e-commerce system and the anti-smoking system, indicating that the Ministry of Commerce seized the violating facility that was announced and imposed the legal penalties on it.

She added that the visitor had published clips and coverage on her accounts, through which she promoted tobacco and smoke products, and the regulations and regulations stipulate the prevention of their promotion, marketing or , and their products directly or indirectly.

She confirmed that the violation was referred to the committee to consider the penalties of the e-commerce system to impose legal penalties on it and the commercial establishment.
