Al Saedan Real Estate Development Company has entered into an agreement with a technology company in Japan to manufacture an industrial technical transformation in the real estate sector in the Kingdom to move to the fourth generation of construction.
The agreement aims to establish a modern building technology factory located in the Riyadh region, to raise the construction sector’s contribution to the GDP from 3.5% to 15% according to the sector’s contribution to the local product internationally, and to prepare rehabilitation and training programs for citizens to transfer knowledge and localize technology and train 100 people in the first year .
According to the plan, it is scheduled to start next year the first production operations of the factory using modern technology, at 1200 villas annually with environmentally friendly standards that allow the citizen to choose the appropriate design for his home, and work to provide building materials, thus reducing the operational cost, and saving regarding 40% of the energy cost.
Mashael Saeedan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Saedan Company, said that the factory will work to establish smart cities, future technologies, and transfer knowledge and technology to the Kingdom, indicating that the customer will be able to design his home according to his wishes and receive it within a period not exceeding 90 days.
The partnership agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Al Saedan” company, Mishael Saeedan, in the presence of a number of real estate professionals and those interested in the technology sector from the Saudi and Japanese sides, as this is the first agreement between the two countries in the field of developing construction technologies.
