The former head of the General Intelligence, Prince Turki Al-Faisal, spoke regarding how the princes were brought up in the kingdom, and the changes he noticed in Afghanistan over the past 20 years.
Prince Turki Al-Faisal said that the upbringing of princes in the kingdom is no different from the upbringing of any other individual, which instilled in him a feeling that there is no difference between a prince and others.
He added, during his meeting with “That with Sami Al-Jaber” program on “Saudi Arabia” channel, that the school in which he studied adopted a curriculum from one of the famous schools in Egypt in terms of applying social and Islamic sciences as well as the Arabic language, in addition to practicing other activities such as public speaking clubs and scouting families. .
He pointed out that his brother, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, became famous in the United States as a football player, noting that the American press wrote regarding him when he scored a record in a match with 8 goals in one match.
He noted that he was frustrated during his graduation from the College of Engineering at Princeton University following failing in it, pointing out that he later joined Georgetown University in Washington in 1964.
He pointed out that the situation in Afghanistan has changed a lot during the past 20 years; As a result of the spread of social media, he noted that social conditions, especially women’s rights, differed greatly from what the Taliban practiced 20 years ago.
