Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan said they met Queen Elizabeth in person on Thursday.
He added that the couple passed through the UK while on their way to The Hague to attend the Invictus Games, and that Harry had earlier expressed his hope to see his grandmother, while there was no comment from Buckingham Palace regarding the visit.
And the newspaper “The Sun” revealed regarding the visit and that Harry and Meghan also met Prince Charles during a visit to Windsor Castle, which is the first joint trip that the couple have made together to Britain since they gave up royal duties in March 2020.
Harry, who has moved to the United States with his wife, did not attend a memorial service for his grandfather, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh last month, wawho died in April of last year, and his absence was following a dispute with the government over security protection measures.
Queen Elizabeth, 95, suffers from movement problems and did not attend a religious event in a church yesterday, nor will she attend Easter service next Sunday in Windsor.
