The Ministry of Health reviewed some of the signs resulting from lack of sleep, which negatively affect the practical performance of students, whether academic or social.
The ministry indicated that these signs include pallor of the face, drowsiness, mood swings, in addition to difficulty in learning and thinking.
She pointed to other signs such as a loss of enthusiasm, an increased risk of accidents when engaging in activities, and weight gain.
She stressed that ensuring adequate sleep in the early hours of the night is a necessity that must be taken care of on a daily basis.
