The Control and Anti-Corruption Authority initiated a number of criminal and administrative cases during the month of Jumada Al-Awwal 1444 AH.
It indicated that it was investigating 437 defendants, and had arrested 170 in cases of bribery, abuse of influence, money laundering and forgery.
Nazaha clarified that the detainees belong to the ministries of Interior, Justice, Municipal Affairs, Health, Human Resources, Commerce, and Education, following monitoring rounds that reached 2426.
