News 24 | Jeddah Slums Committee feels the residents of the parks and continues to remove in 8 neighborhoods

The Informal Neighborhoods Committee in Jeddah has notified the residents of the slums in the “Al-Montazat” area, in preparation for the start of the removal work, within the total of 28 neighborhoods that have been removed and are being removed.

The committee confirmed the continuation of the removal work in 8 neighborhoods: (Bani Malik, Al-Wurud, Mishref, Al-Jamaa, Al-Rawabi, Al-Aziziyah, Al-Rehab, and Al-Rabwah).

It added that it will complete the work of notifications and the separation of services to reach the stage of complete removal of the remaining neighborhoods, according to its previously announced and amended executive plan, which includes: (Parks – Quwaizah – Al-Adl and Al-Fadl – Umm Al-Salam and Kilo 14 Al-Shamali).

It is noteworthy that the total number of slums to be removed in Jeddah is 32, and the removal work is expected to be completed early next year 2023.
