Hamed Farag said toNews 24He is 19 years old and has been obese for about 5-6 years, weighing about 200 kilos.
Hamed added that he tried to reduce his weight several times, but he failed in all his attempts, indicating that he has now reached the point of difficulty in controlling sleep, and the inability to walk properly, as the weight gain affected his right foot.
He pointed out that a number of doctors announced that they took care of his condition, including the consultant bariatric surgeon, Dr. Ayedh Al-Qahtani, and consultant d. Nayef Al-Anzi.
Hamed expressed his thanks to the two doctors for their humanitarian initiative. He also thanked all those who interacted with his story and contributed to his treatment while covering the travel expenses because he is in the Jazan region.
