Al-Ahly club’s media center announced, in the early hours of Thursday morning, that Prince Turki bin Abdullah Al-Faisal joined the list of golden members, in the first tweet since the first team’s relegation to the first division “Yellow League”.
Al-Ahly club published an official statement, for the first time since its relegation, in which it said: “Prince Turki bin Abdullah Al-Faisal paid the prescribed golden membership fees to join the list of golden members of the club’s general assembly.”
In its statement, the Al-Ahly administration hoped that his presence would represent a strong support for the members of the General Assembly, as well as his contribution to supporting the club’s games and various activities during the coming period.
Al-Ahly was relegated to the First Division next season (2022-2023), for the first time in its history, following it occupied the penultimate position in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup league table with only 32 points from 30 matches, in the last season.
