News 24 | Human Resources: Imposing financial compensation on domestic workers with more than 4 workers per capita

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development clarified that the Council of Ministers issued a decision to impose a financial compensation on each member of the domestic workers, which exceeds 4 workers for the Saudi individual.

The decision included imposing a financial compensation on 2 resident domestic workers at an amount of 9,600 riyals for each additional worker annually, with the exception of humanitarian cases that require more than the permissible limit, such as cases of medical care and cases of care for people with special needs, in accordance with the controls and requirements set by the formed committee. The ministry indicated the limited segment of individuals targeted by this decision, and that the application will take place in two phases, with the first phase of this decision starting from the date of 10/21/1443 AH, and this will be on new incoming domestic workers for those who have more than 4 domestic workers for the Saudi individual, and 2 for the resident.

The second phase starts from the date of 10/21/1444 AH, for new and existing domestic workers, which exceed 4 for Saudis, and 2 for residents.
