The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development clarified that the party bears the renewal of the work permit and residence and the consequent delay fines for the expatriate worker following transferring his services to another employer.

The ministry indicated that following transferring the service of an expatriate worker, the new employer bears the renewal of the work permit and residence, and the consequent fines for delay.

It is noteworthy that “Transferring the Service of an Expatriate Worker” is an electronic service provided by the Ministry to enable establishments to submit a request to transfer a worker’s services to them from another employer.
