The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, announced the amendment of the executive regulations of the labor system issued by Ministerial Resolution No. 70273 dated 04/11/1440 AH.
The regulation included the amendment of Paragraph 4 of Clause Two of Article 24 to read as follows: The National Day or the founding day with the days off for one of the two holidays does not compensate the worker for this day.
And it included adding a paragraph No. (4) to the first item of Article (24) with the following text: The founding day leave for a period of one day, on the twenty-second of February of the Gregorian year.
Al-Rajhi explained that this decision will be implemented starting today, Friday, and the Deputy Minister must take what is necessary to implement this amendment to the executive regulations.
