The Ministry of Health has clarified how to protect boys and girls in schools from the transmission of viruses and diseases and prevent them, in light of the weather changes taking place in several regions these days.
The ministry said that care should be taken to give children the annual influenza vaccine to prevent colds and influenza, as well as urging them to wash hands with soap and water regularly, and to avoid touching the eyes or mouth immediately following touching surfaces.
She noted the need for children not to come into contact with people with influenza or to share their tools, to use a tissue when sneezing and to dispose of it immediately, and to clean surfaces before use, such as the table and chair.
She added that hands should be washed regularly before and following food and following leaving the bathroom, and vaccination doses should be completed according to the national schedule, to prevent gastroenteritis, swine flu, measles, and rubella.
