News 24 | Health shows the body’s healthy sleep hours for all age groups

Today (Saturday), the Ministry of Health revealed the normal number of hours of sleep for the human body in different age groups, from birth to old age.

The ministry explained that the normal number of hours of sleep for newborns from 0-3 months ranges between 14-17 hours per day, for infants from 4-11 months between 12-16 hours, children from 1-2 years between 11-14 hours, and children from 1 to 2 years old between 11-14 hours. Pre-school age 3-5 years: 10-13 hours a day.

The normal number of daily sleep hours for school-aged children 6–13 years ranges between 9–11 hours, adolescents aged 14–24 years range between 8–10 hours, and adults from 25–64 years range between 7–9 hours. And the elderly from 65 years and older between 7-8 hours.
