Today (Tuesday), the Ministry of Health called on school students to undergo medical examinations, before the start of the new school year.
The Ministry explained that the medical examinations provided to school students are the medical fitness examination for the first grade of primary school, which is an examination to assess the health status in general to ensure the student’s safety from physical or mental disability, and the exploratory examination, which is a medical examination for specific age groups of students with the aim of following up on certain health indicators.
She pointed out that children are characterized by rapid physical and psychological growth, indicating that the importance of periodic medical examinations lies in making sure that they grow normally, and discovering any health problems, in addition to providing early treatment.
