The Ministry of Health, in response to a person’s inquiry, clarified the appropriate time to conduct a coronavirus test in the event of contact with a person infected with the virus.
And the ministry indicated that when contact with a confirmed case and no symptoms appear for a fully immunized person, home quarantine or an examination is not required.
She added that if the person in contact is not immunized and does not show symptoms of infection with the virus, then home quarantine is required, with an examination performed on the fifth day of the quarantine.
She added that when contact with a confirmed case and severe symptoms of contact with fully immunized appear, such as shortness of breath, fever or cough, it is necessary to go to reassuring clinics, and when simple symptoms appear, it is preferable to do a quick home examination with a call to the number (937).
