News 24 | Health: 4 important tips for healthy nutrition for children up to two years

The Ministry of Health has issued several tips related to proper nutrition that helps in the healthy growth and development of children in their early years.

The Ministry explained that the feeding guidelines for children up to the age of two years consist in breastfeeding the child from birth until the completion of 6 months, and gradually introducing solid foods following the age of 6 months.

She also advised to eat 3 meals a day, and 2 snacks for a one-year-old child, in addition to avoiding foods that contain high fat and fiber for less than two years.
