The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council has identified a set of questions that should be asked when visiting a doctor.

The council stated that the list of questions includes what are normal blood pressure and cholesterol levels and how to maintain them? What are the warning signs that may indicate a high or low blood sugar level? What is the appropriate action in the event of an increase or decrease?

He pointed out that these questions include what are the complications of diabetes that can occur?, and how can one be protected from these complications?, noting that at each visit one must ask regarding periodic check-ups, which are measuring pressure and weight and setting or reviewing a treatment plan, as well as a blood test and a sugar check. Cumulative examination every 6 months, and examination of cholesterol, feet, eyes and kidneys every year.
