News 24 | For the fourth day in a row, the residents of Jizan are facing a suffocating water crisis

Residents of some governorates of the Jazan region are experiencing a suffocating water crisis following it was completely cut off, especially in the villages of Wadi Jazan.

Residents had to use paid water tanks to cope with the crisis, which lasted for 4 consecutive days.

For their part, technicians in the project confirmed that the problem of the interruption was due to a defect in the pumps, pointing out that it was repaired and the water was re-pumped since yesterday evening to the villages of Wadi Jizan, but until this followingnoon (Tuesday) the water did not reach those governorates.

While the director of water in Jazan region, Eng. Bandar Jabr, revealed that there have been maintenance operations for the pumps for a day and a half, indicating that the water was pumped as of sunset yesterday, provided that it is available during the day for all beneficiaries.
