The Ministry of Health has provided a set of tips and instructions that must be followed while shopping. To ensure a healthy and balanced diet.
The ministry urged consumers, before embarking on the shopping process, to determine meals according to needs throughout the week and to write them down in a clear list, in addition to being careful not to shop when feeling hungry.
And she warned consumers while shopping not to be deceived by discounts and offers, with the necessity to isolate detergents from foods in the shopping cart, to buy fresh meat, poultry and fish, and to choose milk and its low-fat derivatives.
And she advised to read the food label on the cans, avoid buying items from the low-cooling refrigerator, put frozen foods and meat next to the air conditioner in tightly sealed bags, wash hands following arriving home, and start arranging frozen foods in the refrigerator following wrapping them.
